There are two available positions:
Food and Beverage Manager – Manor West Hotel
The Hotel is currently looking to recruit for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join the established Management Team at the well-established hotel. As this role is at a senior level within the management team, the successful candidate will work in tandem with the all the food and beverage team including the department head overseeing all food and beverage catering operations from Sea salt café and restaurant to the large food and beverage business within the main bar with additional services including room service and private events. The hotel does not cater for any large events as all the food and beverage is ground floor business.

The ideal candidate must have:
- Previous experience is required in a similar role within a 4-star environment
- Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage (including wine)
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Extensive experience in F&B staff training, knowledge and skills, grooming, customer service and service etiquette
- Experience with menu evaluation and development, compiling rosters and training plans, basic payroll administration, table plans, menus, labour cost management, ordering, maintaining beverage percentages.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Fluent English
- 3rd level Hospitality Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Computer Skills
- Management Soft Skills, Leadership and Delegation
- Event Management
- Experience using Alkimii hr system and procure wizard purchasing system would be advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and running of the daily Food & Beverage operations, giving support and guidance to fellow Food & Beverage personnel as well as monitoring job performance to ensure a successful experience by our guests
- Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all Food & Beverage Outlets while – maintaining standards of food, beverage, and service specifications
- Review all written communication, i.e., daily/weekly management of appropriate staffing levels, staff shift assignments, buffet décor and enhancements as they relate to Food & Beverage room set-ups.
- Communicate information to the kitchen and other supportive departments prior to and during service.
- Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all food and beverage space, public areas, and service areas on all Food & Beverage levels.
- To organise weekly briefing with the Food and Beverage Manager /Supervisors to discuss and effectively cover all forthcoming business events coverage for the week and into the future
- To generate new ideas for service and products that will maintain a competitive and leading edge over our competitive set and generate additional revenue
- To ensure service briefings are carried out as appropriate regarding core standards (dress code, hygiene, service procedure)
- Previous experience in recruitment and selection of staff would be advantageous
This role is a senior management role and is full-time. The remuneration for the role will be consummate with experience including benefits that can be discussed at interview stage.

Duty Manager – Manor West Hotel
The hotel is currently looking to recruit a Duty Manager to join our existing successful management team.
The role will require the successful candidate to be focused on service delivery standards in the industry and work in partnership with the senior management in implementing the highest levels of service and standards across the hotel.
The ideal candidate will be financially astute, aware of Health & Safety Regulations and HR compliance.
Reporting to: General Manager & Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Departmental Managers to ensure excellent standards and service throughout the hotel in all areas through the supervision and management and performance of all personnel.
- Monitor the daily / weekly rotas in alignment with the payroll budget in conjunction with the HOD’s using alkimii hr software.
- Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner by every team member.
- Ensure that all Hotel Operations are followed to the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure all outlets are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service with an emphasis of maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times especially in relation to Covid-19.
- Carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy.
- To maximise all sales opportunities and to promote a selling environment throughout the departments ensuring that sales targets are met.
- Identify areas for staff training on a consistent basis and ensure staff can carry out all tasks in an efficient manner through ongoing training.
- Maintain departmental records on all training carried out within the department
- Work in partnership with the HR Department in managing any staff related issues
Experience/Education:
- Previous Duty Management experience within a similar 4* property essential.
- Experience with Front Office systems such as Hotsoft PMS and AVVIO an advantage but training will be given.
- Must be self-motivated and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Must be standards driven and detail-orientated
- Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible with regards to hours including weekends, evenings, bank holidays etc
- Good knowledge of current trends within the hospitality environment desirable
