Experience | Discover | Enjoy

Kerry beaches are a surfers’ paradise and many people come to the county specifically to surf its crashing waves and long areas of unbroken, uncrowded waters.

Inch Beach, Banna Beach and Ballybunion Beach are all popular with surfers, keen to experience the Atlantic Ocean surf breaking along miles of sandy beach and mountain range backdrop.

Castlegregory Beach, only half an hour’s drive from the hotel, is Ireland’s longest beach at almost 20km, with gentle beach break surfing that's perfect for novices.

These beaches have surfing boards and wetsuits for hire, and most offer lessons. Our staff will be happy to provide you with more information on this.

Inch and Banna Beaches are long, sandy, and bordered by the Kerry Mountains. In beautiful Ballybunion, world class surf breaks along four miles of golden sands, ensuring a trip you won’t forget, while the Atlantic cliff break ensures exhilarating challenges for serious surfers.
