Just ask at Reception where we love to tell you more about the Kingdom of Kerry, what to see and all the activities available.
Enjoy family-time at the hotel’s Leisure Centre with 18ft pool, kiddies play pool, complimentary arm bands, kick boards and rubber rings. Grown-ups can enjoy relaxation time in the pool-side sauna and steam room. Swim hats and swim nappies can be purchased at the leisure centre reception.
In accordance with current pandemic legislation, access to the pool and leisure facilities will be managed by the leisure centre team, and time slots will need to be booked for use of this area when it is open. We recommend booking your pool times prior to arrival to get the time that suits you.
If you would like to bring bicycles on holiday with you, we have individual bike cages available on-site to store your bikes securely.
We know you’ll be exhausted from all the amazing fun you’re having with us, so we’ve got some fabulous family-friendly bedrooms and interlocking rooms for your peace of mind and comfort.
Our family rooms are generously fitted with a double and single bed (extra beds and comfy cots also available upon request), heated towel rails, mini coolers and air conditioning.
Our bunk beds rooms are proving really popular with younger guests and can sleep two adults and two children, but must be pre-booked.
Why not upgrade to one of our fabulous family inter-connecting suites? Two adjoining rooms for your safety, space and comfort. Please ring the hotel directly to check availability.
If you wish to watch a movie, DVD players are available from reception on request. If you didn’t bring any with you, don’t worry! We have lots of family friendly DVDs to choose from, and if you’d rather do something else instead, choose from our eclectic range of board games, toys and books available at reception. Sweet dreams!
Access to the pool and leisure facilities is managed by the Leisure Reception team and time slots need to be booked for use of this area.

Ballyseedy Woods (a ten minute drive from the hotel)
Explore the fairytale magic of our ancient Ballyseedy Woods. A wonderful place to run around with its acres of woodland, carved wooden figures and fairy trees. Kids will love watching birds feeding from the bird feeders, following the easy to navigate, flat paths, and discovering the historical ruins of an old castle and mill. Parking is easy with two car parks on either side of the woods for easy access, and three different length walking routes are visibly marked
Blue Flag Beaches (all within a half hour’s drive or less from the hotel)
Kerry has 13 blue flag beaches and Manor West Hotel is fortunate enough to to be within 30km of half of them: Maherees, Banna, Ballyheigue, Fenit, Ballybunion North and Ballybunion South. These big, sandy, uncrowded beaches are perfect for a family day out. Enjoy a picnic, fishing, swimming, surfing, paddling, walking, playing … it’s up to you!
Kerry County Museum www.kerrymuseum.ie
The county museum is a short ten minute drive from the hotel and perfect for a rainy day (or fine one!) The museum has running exhibitions and activities for children year round. The museum runs excellent seasonal experiences at Christmas and Hallowe’en, plus workshops at Easter and over the summer.
